Weapon: His staff – Charged with the ability to emit lightning bolts Speciality: Magic Allegiance: Neutral Faction: Mages Guild Rank: Journeyman Bio: For as long as Alwyn can remember the guild has been his home, his school, his life. One of the mages told him how they found him – they had been tracking a rogue band of necromancers, watching them from afar. Alwyn and his parents, whos names he can not even remember, came upon these necromancers on their travellels between towns. The guild members were too slow in coming to their rescue and Alwyn's parents were slain before the necromancers turned their attention to the guild mages. The Mages succeeded in defeating the necromancers and Alwyn, the young Altmer boy, was taken back to the guild, where he later began his training in the art of magic. Over the years Alwyn studied hard, made friends, and lived a happy life. His studies taught his all six houses of magic, plus alchemy, and he learned all he had to, but focused his attention on only four of the houses of magic. The houses that appealed to, and intrigues him the most. Restoration held little appeal to him. Yes, he wanted to be able to help people, and with the magicks he had of that hosue he could do that, over time. His spells of this house may be weak, but with repetitive casting the effect would be the same as that of a powerful cast of the spell. The same with the house of alteration – it held little appeal to him so he only learned what he had to to proceed to the next step of his education. After years of study and dedication he managed to make it into the mages guild itself, becoming an Apprentice. Not an easy task - he had to travel to the seven guilds in Cyrodiil and obtain a recommendation from each of the guild masters. Each master supplied him with a task - whether it be meneal or life threatening - for him to complete. Some were easy - delivering an enchanted amulet to a guild mage in another town - and some that were not so simple - The Anvil recommendation to find a rare herb only found one specific place - a cave, that was filled with overgrown arachnid creatures. Creatures that Alwyn did not like. At all. And the Anvil recommendation required him to dive to the bottom of the ocean to find a lost familial heirloom. He was provided with only a handful of waterbreathing scrolls, so he had to use them sparingly or else drown to death. That, and Alwyn not being the most talented swimmer in the world made this particular recommendation more scary than others. At this point he strived to go further still, and so, he had to make his own staff. A ritual that is personal to each and every Mage. He went to the Wellspring Cave and found the wood that would later be used to synthesise his staff. It was during his quest to find this wood that he encountered his first enemies. A band of thieves set on either looting him, or killing him. Alwyn did what he had to do, defended himself with his destruction magicks, and proved victorious. But at a price. HE did not enjoy the act of killing, but he did it to survive. They attacked him, and he defended himself accordingly. He will not be sorry for that. To finished the synthesis of his staff he took it to the guild Chironasium, where the enchantments were placed upon it. Enchantments that allowed his staff to carry and emit bolts of energy. Allowing him to save his own energies in battle, if fighting is necessary. Now, he was Journeyman in the Mages Guild, and so, he is ready to take on more tasks to further his rank in the Mages Guild. Tasks that will take him further and further away from the tranquillity of the Guild University and further into the barbaric nature of the world itself… [/ul]

I'm sorry, I forgot to put a no unknowns rule in the rule section. For specialty you may say Combat, Magic, or Stealth. Allegiance is to a country/province. If no real allegiance, put Neutral.

You still need to explain all of the aspects of his life. His gaining of the recommendations, his acceptance into the university, and his past. No unknowns.

Aside from Kiaru's observations, I only have one slight problem. Kyle isn't a very Altmer-esque name. Again, just a slight thing, you can keep it, I'm just letting you know that it is sort of odd.
