Which do you prefer?
Oblivion or Morrowind?
Arena or Daggerfall?

Personally I have only played Morrowind [As well as Tribunal and Bloodmoon] and Oblivion [All of the expansions] and I honestly have to say..
Morrowind had a hell of a lot more variety. Just sayin'. Oblivion was literally the least interactive game I've ever seen with the exception of Fable 1.
So yeah, my vote goes to Morrowind even though I'm more drawn to graphics which makes me play Oblivion more.

You know i have to agree with you on this one, Morrowind felt like it had more variety and more are to explore. As if you were really in a world you could do anything in and it was much bigger than oblivion terrain wise. But Morrowind was a random generated landscape in some areas which in oblivion it was made in a detailed manner. I have mastered the oblivion game and i honestly think they could have made another expansion. One with a couple new guilds and a bigger land than shivering isle's. Although the equipment in Oblivion is far better than morrowinds, Morrowind had a much bigger variety of equipment to choose from therefore making it more appealing equipment wise, in a certain aspect.

A fusion of Oblivion and Morrowind would have created the perfect game. I liked the Oblivion graphics, Magic, Horses, Houses, and AI. I couldn't stand the fact that the game was completely based on the level of the character. After beating the main mission of Oblivion with only a level six or so Mage, who was also the Archmagister of the mages guild, made me see the enormous flaw in the game. I like the fact that the wilderness was level based so I didn't run into stupid rats, Cliff Racers, and kwama foragers that I could kill in one hit but were really a nuisance. In Morrowind, I didn' really start on the main quest till I was in the late teens level wise (largely because I have good mercantile and built up my stats), even then I found parts difficult. Of course now, my Morrowind character is at level 25 with beastly enchanted stuff and I really just run through everything.
Oblivion also limited you playing wise by having very few factions for you to join. Morrowind had tons, each with a bunch of quests that really influenced the world.
Oblivion magic system was a lot nicer since you only had to cast with one hand and didn't have to go and search through your interface for a spell to cast then have to switch back to your sword. I think Oblivion enchanting was better but was limited to that one spot which kinda pissed me off.
Morrowind just felt a lot more expansive and made you have to play hard instead of just running through the game since it is designed to always be easy for you. I just wish that your Stronghold in Morrowind was more useful instead of just being some out-of-the-way place that you really have no need for.
